Welcome to the Mayfield Duplicate Bridge Club web site. We hope you will enjoy your visit and that the information it contains helps you to enjoy your bridge, either with us in Tadworth, Surrey, or at your own home or club. The site contains practical information for visitors and members alike, as well as articles and news from around and about. The information below is designed to help you, the visitor, enjoy your bridge with us at Mayfield Duplicate Bridge Club, so please read on. If we've missed something out, then do let us know, either by contacting us, or letting us know when you come to the club.

Bridge Nights
Mayfield Duplicate Bridge Club meets for Duplicate bridge on Tuesday and Friday evenings throughout the year.

Visitors Welcome
Visitors are always welcome on either of these nights except for occasions when there is a club competition (please check Future Events for dates with restrictions).

Start Time
You should aim to arrive by 19:30 to obtain a table assignment. Play commences at 19:40 and concludes around 22:50.

Table Fees
Currently these are £3.50 per evening per visitor on Tuesdays and £3.50 per evening per visitor on Fridays. Please note that visitors can attend up to four times in a year. If your intention is to play more frequently than this, you are asked to obtain a membership form from one of our club officials.

Visitors with Restricted Mobility
There is parking available adjacent to the venue and appropriate access is provided for persons requiring wheelchairs.

Smoking Restrictions
Mayfield Duplicate Bridge Club has a no smoking policy.

Host
A host system is employed on regular club nights. Therefore, members and visitors arriving without a partner should be ensured of a game.

Table Numbers
We can usually cater for up to 18 tables. Typically, Tuesday night bridge has 14 tables while Friday has 6 tables.

EBU Licence
Conventions and Systems up to EBU Licence Level 4 are permitted. For information on what this allows, please see EBU Orange Book 1998 available from the (EBU Laws and Ethics Committee web page ).
