Sutton Deanery Pastoral Council
Our mission is to promote an inter parish community through faith, fellowship and friendship within the Sutton Deanery.
The Sutton Deanery Pastoral Council fosters a sense of community and promotes
our Lord´s spiritual values through the teachings of the Roman Catholic
Church. We do this by organising;
- Annual days of reflection for Eucharistic Ministers, readers and all hold a ministry in the Catholic Church
- Retreat Days to Aylesford Priory
- Adult formation courses, which may be delivered by the Centre for Catholic Formation, for example Support for Liturgy of the Word with Children; and during the Year of Faith, exploring the documents of the Second Vatican Council
We welcome members from the lay community and the clergy of each of the parishes in the Deanery, to foster opportunities for communication, and we hope to provide an environment where spiritual guidance can flourish in the inter-parish Deanery community.
If you are interested in representing your parish at the Deanery Council,
please speak to your parish priest in the first instance. The Council aims
to meet 4 times a year at rotating venues throughout the Deanery. Some
meetings will include a guest speaker on a topic of importance to our mission.
